Koloa is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. The population was 2,120 at the 2010 census. It is located near the mouth of the Hule’ia River. The community is served by Koloa Road, which runs from the Poipu resort area in the south to the historic town of Hanapepe in the north.

The nearest airport is Lihue Airport, located about 19 miles (31 km) away.
