Huntington Station is a community in the Town of Huntington. It is the busiest Long Island Rail Road station outside of New York City, with an average of 14,000 commuters passing through each day.

The Long Island Rail Road serves Huntington Station with the Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, Oyster Bay, and Montauk branches. The station is the eastern terminus of the Huntington shuttle, which operates during rush hour and provides service to the Jamaica LIRR station. The station also provides service to Penn Station in Manhattan, with an average travel time of approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
