Travel in the desert areas of southern Tunisia presents some challenges. Many roads are not paved and can be covered by sand from the Sahara. You should only drive off roads in an appropriate vehicle equipped with supplies, including water and food. Ideally travel with a group of vehicles.

The rental agency was very accommodating, even though i showed up 3 days late because of issues with the plane. car was good and we had no problems while there. we would rent through this group again.
