Dubai is one of the most amazing places on earth, when you get to the city you see it is literally surrounded by a huge and impressive desert, there is sand everywhere. It is a landscape worthy to behold, especially when you realize it is full of tourist attractions and entertainment venues. Since you get to Dubai’s airport until you leave, you won’t stop feeling an unmistakable sense of amazement that only the city of wonders can produce.
Another attraction is the artificial archipelago, The World. This complex is built as an ambitious hotel project. It has a land area of over 9,000,000 square metres and it is divided into 300 islands placed as if it were a huge world map.
On the island of Lebanon there is The Royal Island Beach Club, a beach club with a restaurant, a bar and a pool that offers customers various water activities.
The Palm Jumeirah is a must in Dubai, this vast island shaped like a giant palm tree can be seen from the International Space Station due to its 31,000 square meters. The island has a train that transports people from the trunk of the island to the branches of the tree. To "decorate" the massive structure, 28 bottlenose dolphins were moved from Solomon Islands to the palm to fill an artificial lake. There are several luxury villas for sale in the palm, some of them exceeding $5 million. As not everyone can afford such a "palace", the island is designed to accommodate up to 65,000 tourists at different resorts, villas and hotels.
The Dubai Dolphinarium is one of the biggest surprises of the city. As expected, a place with so much heat is not the ideal place to have swimming-pools with dolphins, but this is Dubai, there is a solution for everything.
The Dolphinarium is the first one to have air conditioning in all the Middle East. It generates an ideal habitat for dolphins and seals, allowing the public to view and interact with them through live shows and photo shoots. It is located in a park in Bur Dubai near Children’s City..
The Dubai Autodrome was opened in October 2004 with the final round of the Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. In late 2005, it received the rank of A1 Grand Prix cars in its inaugural season. Since the 2009 season, it is included in the calendar of Formula 1, which gives the circuit a worlwide prestige. One of the most popular attractions in this circuit are the test sessions you can hire. They go from go karts to the fastest racing cars on the world.
